SunLink(TM) CG3270 gives workstation systems an IBM 3179G terminalemulator window that supports display of host color and graphics, such asthose generated by GDDM. CG3270 is based on the OpenWindows environment.Users can dynamically resize a CG3270 window, subsequently scaling imagesand text contained within the terminal window.SunLink CG3270 is an unbundled terminal emulator-only product that isusually used in conjunction with one of the SunLink 3270 communicationgateway products (SNA 3270, BSC 3270, or Local 3270). However, SunLinkCG3270 can be used without a gateway if TCP/IP is installed on the IBMhost (using the TN3270 protocol). SunLink CG3270 includes languagetemplates for 28 different languages, allowing internationalization ofthe manager and keyboard.
